There are no refunds on My Sister’s Keeper Defense classes or events however, students may reschedule or transfer their registration fee to another student. If the class is canceled at our behest, students will receive a full refund. There are also no refunds in cases of accidental registration. Students who register for the wrong class will have their registration fees held and can be used towards a future class.

If a student is unable to attend a group class/event, they are allowed to reschedule once at any time and for any reason. Failure to attend the second class/event date will result in the forfeiture of any registration fees paid. Students have 12 months from their original class/event date to reschedule and attend their new class. If the student does not reschedule within 12 months, all registration fees will be forfeited. Students can use any class registration credit towards any future group class but are required to pay the difference in class costs if applicable. Group class registration credits can not be used towards private class and private class credits can not be used towards group classes.
It is the responsibility of the student to complete a class reschedule/transfer form. It is also the responsibility of each student to subscribe to the email list below to be notified of all future class reschedule dates.

Late/No Show Policy: Late students will be extended a 15 minute grace period which will count toward their class time. Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will forfeit their private class and any registration fees paid. No show students will forfeit their private class and any registration fees paid. Email me at training@mskdefense if you’re running late.
Reschedule Policy: Private classes must be rescheduled at least 24 hours prior to class. Failure to reschedule at least 24 hrs prior will result in forfeiture of any registration fees paid. Students have 12 months from their original lesson date to reschedule and attend their new class. If the student does not reschedule within 12 months, all registration fees will be forfeited. Group class registration credits can not be used towards private classes and private class credits can not be used towards group classes.To reschedule or cancel your private class, go to your confirmation or reminder email and click the “Change/Cancel Appointment” button.

Students have the option to transfer their registration to another interested participant using our class transfer form. The newly registered student can only use the remaining reschedule opportunities of the original registrant.
Example 1: Student A has missed one class and decides to transfer their registration to Student B to attend the next class. Since Student A has already used their one reschedule opportunity Student B would not be able to reschedule again.
Example 2: Student A is registered for an upcoming class and discovers she can no longer attend. Student A transfers her class registration to Student B prior to the class date. After the transfer form is submitted, Student B discovers she also can no longer attend the class. Student B would be able to reschedule to a future class date because a class reschedule has not already taken place.
